On 14 October VeNetWork, a group set up by a pool of Venetian entrepreneurs involved in business re-startups and owned by Alberto Baban, finalised the acquisition of 75% of Tris Ottica, a company based in Segusino (Treviso).

For 30 years the latter has been making eyewear in acetate and acetate/metal combinations on behalf of major luxury brands in addition to an original line with its own Lamarca brand.

The entry of VeNetWork is accompanied by a partial generational change in the company structure of Tris Ottica Srl, with the departure of some long-standing quotaholders and the confirmation of the current CEO, Mario Righes. Berto & Associati were involved in the acquisition transaction in an advisory capacity.

Tris Ottica

Established in 1991, the company now employs a total of 120 people at its three factories: the main one at Segusino, the second, an extension of the former, and the third at Auronzo di Cadore, which was taken over by eyewear company Vecellio in 2011.

In 2019 Tris Ottica’s turnover stood at 22 million euro, a 30% increase compared to the previous year, with the manufacture of 830,000 items. Created 5 years ago, the Lamarca brand represents about 10% of turnover.
