Tree Spectacles has create a brand new collection: Wabi-Sabi.

Seeking beauty in imperfection. Wabi-sabi, in ancient Japanese philosophy, teaches the acceptance of imperfection, to rediscover the beauty of a creation that is intuitive and spontaneous. In their latest collection, Tree Spectacles have “replaced, modified and even simply discarded” some particular phases of usual production in a search for new frame designs with a new type of surface. The frames have a “raw look”, somewhat primitive, which in reality is very sophisticated and complicated to achieve.”

The models respect the Tree philosophy of design which is both modern and minimalist.

The shapes and the edges are cut and sculpted and the lines are very pronounced. This has been possible only with the technical know-how of the Tree label to create excellent comfort and a raw artisanal aesthetic. A very simple minimalism as opposed to a meticulous minimalism.
