Tiziano Tabacchi receives the “Lepre bianca” art award

Written by MIDO | 09/11/2019

Tiziano Tabacchi, the designer and founder of the brand MIC-Made in Cadore, was recently presented with the 2019 edition of the “Lepre bianca” art award by the Regola di Costalissoio of Cadore.

The award, which is promoted by the Luigi Regianini Surrealism Museum in Costalissoio is presented to artists whose work expresses a connection with the local area. This represents a major commendation for Tabacchi and the eyewear brand he launched at Mido 2018 as the brand’s key inspirations are precisely the landscape, colours and splendour of Cadore and the Dolomites.

The 2019 edition is particularly significant as it coincides with a very important occasion for the Dolomites, with the official celebrations of the tenth anniversary since the “Pale Mountains” were listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
