The Museum houses the Compasso d’Oro Historic Collection which is made up of selected objects from 1954 to today, and it opens its doors to the public with 8 contemporary in-depth exhibitions closely linked to the Collection.

However, more than just a meeting place for the design community, the ADI Design Museum is intended to be a point of reference for the general public who will be able to better understand the true meaning and value of design through the pieces in the collection and the innovative format with in-depth theme-based studies, conferences, events and workshops for young people.

The opening of the new design museum signifies a great deal more than the creation of a focal point for the narration and promotion of the Italian design system in Milan and the rest of the country. It will also be a solid sign of hope for the whole Made in Italy culture and a relaunching of the country, following the difficult situation resulting from the Covid-19 pandemic experienced during the last year.

The ADI Design Museum is opened to the public from 10.30 to 20.00 from Tuesdays to Sundays.
