Silhouette goes to Venice with the Film Festival guest of honour
Silhouette has decided to make its red carpet debut at the upcoming Venice Film Festival alongside Caterina Murino, an internationally-known actress and iconic Bond Girl from Casino Royale.
The Italian actress is official patron of the 2023 event and will present the opening and closing evenings of the 80th Venice International Film Festival; to mark this event, she will wear a selection of Silhouette glasses (eyeglasses and sunglasses) throughout the festival.
Among the sunglasses selected are Accent Shades Sarria, the women’s model that combines minimal design with striking and opulent details; New York Sky, with an ultra-light frame despite being plated in 23 carat gold; and Rimless Shades Cadaqués, whose oversized and ultra-light frames hark back to the 70s.
Caterina Murino will also wear some Silhouette eyeglasses: Momentum Aurum, of exclusive and subtle luxury thanks to the 23 carat gold-plated frame and small, smart hinge designed with ultra-precise technology inspired by luxury watches; TMA Icon Tinted Lenses in rose pink, the glasses that revolutionised the eyewear market in 1999 thanks to their lightness and extreme comfort; and Purist Color Groove, ultra-light and frameless, these appear to change their look according to the perspective from which they are viewed, inspired by optical illusions and linear designs.
