SAFILO TAKES ANOTHER STEP TOWARDS DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION WITH NEW B2B PLATFORM:

YOU&SAFILO IS NOW LIVE Built by opticians for opticians

In accordance with its customer-centric strategy, the Padua group has launched a new digital B2B platform to provide opticians with all the necessary tools to succeed, from the most innovative eyewear product catalogue to the most advanced e-commerce and omnichannel solutions.

The platform, called You&Safilo, is one of the chapters of Safilo’s customer-facing digital shift, which include the go-live of a new CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system, and is proof of how customer satisfaction and customer loyalty are and will continue to be a key priority for the company. Safilo selected Salesforce for both the B2B e-commerce and the CRM platforms and partnered with Accenture for this strategic project.

The launch

First launched in Italy, France, Spain, Germany, United Kingdom and Eastern European Countries – to be followed by the go-live in all the remaining European Countries – the first release of You&Safilo has been designed to be effective, high performing and user friendly, including features that opticians have indicated as priorities for them and their consumers.

The first release is the starting point of this journey. In an agile framework, the new B2B platform will be continuously improved with new functionalities.

With the launch of the new B2B platform, Safilo is strengthening its efforts towards opticians as it simplifies process from ordering to after-sales management all within a new site. It is an easy to use, simple and complete tool which enables users to easily navigate Safilo’s catalogue, facilitating the order process of glasses and spare parts with clear product descriptions and intuitive order tools.

The challenges of these months have shown the importance of digital tools and You&Safilo will allow customers, on top of their usual relationship with sales reps, to touch base with the Company and manage their assortment orders in a totally autonomous and safe way, 7 days a week, offering real-time information on the features and availability of Safilo’s extensive brand portfolio products – including proprietary brands such as Carrera, Polaroid, Smith, Safilo, and licensed brands.
