"Notti della Moda" kicks off its sixth edition: more than 30 Fashion Institutes in Italy open their doors

Confindustria Accessori Moda, Sistema Moda Italia, and Rete TAM join forces once again to promote excellence in education for students and families.

In October 2024 , a variety of Technical and Vocational Institutes, spread throughout the country, will open their doors to citizens, families and students, offering an opportunity to learn more about the schools' educational excellence.

More than 30 cities, from north to south, will host Fashion Nights, with each school representing the unique characteristics of its own territory. Among the participating cities are Biella, Brescia, Como, Modena, Reggio Emilia, Portogruaro, Scandicci, Prato, Florence, Benevento, Torre del Greco, Naples, Capua, Caserta, Sassari, Cagliari, Catania, Ragusa, Brindisi, Taranto, and Lecce.

Organized in collaboration with technical and vocational institutes and national and local business associations, Fashion Nights will feature a series of after-school events to foster dialogue between the education system and the local community. During these evenings, students and families will have the opportunity to visit the facilities, learn about the training programs, and see the creations produced by students up close.

"We are delighted to present a new edition of 'Fashion Nights,' an initiative that strengthens the connection between education and the labor market. This is a unique opportunity to showcase the value of our educational offerings, which respond to the growing demand for technical skills in the fashion and accessories sector," says Roberto Peverelli, President of Rete TAM.

Giovanna Ceolini, a member of the Education Committee of Confindustria Accessori Moda, comments: "We are proud to collaborate on this initiative with secondary schools, as it is a valuable opportunity to demonstrate our commitment to meeting the needs of businesses and guiding families and students toward opportunities in our sector."

Francesco Ferraris, Board Member of Sistema Moda Italia with a focus on Education, emphasizes: "'Fashion Nights' is becoming a regular event, serving as a bridge between families, professional education, and the workforce. Now more than ever, it is essential for young people, supported by their parents in making future decisions, to experience firsthand the professional and growth opportunities that the textile and clothing manufacturing sector can offer. Sistema Moda Italia supports this initiative to connect the increasing needs of the industry with those who wish to engage with the fashion world, with all its infinite opportunities."
