New roles at ZEISS Vision Care
New appointments and focus on digital: ZEISS Vision Care Italia revamps
In a continuous improvement effort and in line with its global strategy, ZEISS Vision Care Italia has announced the appointment of several new roles and responsibilities. Starting from the next fiscal year (which for ZEISS begins on October 1st, ed.), Pietro Speroni, currently General Manager of the ZEISS Sunlens division, will focus even more on the development of the sunglasses lens business and will also take on a new international role for the launch of new projects and initiatives related to this area. In this transition, Matteo Perini (Head of Sales) and Elena Rubino (Head of Marketing) will report directly to the CEO, Michele d'Adamo.
Additionally, to better lead the digital transformation activities that have characterized the company for several years, a new function has been announced, named Business Transformation. Heading this function will be Gabriele Dispenza, who has been with the company for 15 years and currently serves as Quality Manager. In his new role as Head of Business Transformation, reporting directly to Michele d'Adamo, Dispenza will coordinate all projects aimed at keeping the company up-to-date, both in the management of internal processes and in creating an increasingly modern and engaging purchasing experience for partner opticians and the public.
