Safilo has appointed Lukasz Karpinski as Country Manager Italy effective from 5 July 2019. In his new role, Lukasz reports to Angelo Trocchia, CEO of the Safilo Group, and is based in Padua.
Thirty-eight years old, he was born in Warsaw (Poland) and for the last 33 has lived in Italy, where he studied Economics. Since the beginning of his career, Lukasz has held commercial roles in several sectors of FMCG and White Goods. He joined Safilo in 2014, and specialised in the management of the Global Key Account channel, covering the role of travel retail & duty free sales manager for EMEA/America and GV accounts America. In May 2018 he joined the Italian market as head of the top account channel, purchasing groups and management customers.
