Monet on the Riviera

Monet on the Riviera

135 years after Monet’s stay on the Riviera, three works painted by the great French artist are returning to Bordighera and Dolceacqua, where they were first painted in 1884. The partner of the exhibition is the private Daphné Museum of Fashion and Perfume: inside, visitors can also admire some of the stunning period outfits showcased in this museum, the only one of its kind in Italy. To mark the exhibition, Maison Daphné has created two products: a silk twill neck scarf, and original limited-edition fragrances. Monet’s paintings stamped on the neck scarves show the Valle del Sasso and Dolceacqua Castle paintings, which are the stars of the exhibition. They are accompanied by two fragrances, for a sensorial experience which takes the visitor back to the times of Claude Monet and the Belle Epoque.
