Exhibitors and visitors from around the world, countless business opportunities, a melting pot of languages and cultures. The 52nd edition of MIDO came to an end, confirming the expectations.

The official numbers will be available in a few days but the overall impression is, with no doubt, positive. Mayor of Milano, Beppe Sala, was honored to close the third day of the show, a testimony to the value and the importance of MIDO not only to the Lombardy Region, but also to Italy’s entire tradeshow system. “At MIDO we have the synthesis of what Milano would like to be,” remarked the Mayor to the MIDO TV microphones. “Milano is a creative city, but creativity, without the ability to deliver, is nothing. MIDO, like Milano, is an international city, and it is a fast-growing trend; for us, it is crucial to host an event like this, that brings a lot of work, an aspect that, as mayor, is especially dear to my heart.” Once again, the eyewear show proves to be a leader in industry events and it is among the most international shows held in Italy.
