The artist chose a bold, total-black model adorned with hand-applied Swarovski details.
At the recent launch event for Ferragamo’s Holiday collection, a brand by Marchon Eyewear, Inc., Mahmood showcased the SF2045SR, the highlight of the collection. Crafted from black acetate, this model stands out for its rectangular shape and bold contours, enhanced by sharp angles and black Swarovski® crystal embellishments, meticulously applied by hand.
The jewel-like customization, designed to match the frame’s tone-on-tone effect, features 793 “chaton” crystals cut in the unique “Xilion” style for enhanced brilliance.
To elevate his outfit, Mahmood opted for an oversized double-breasted coat with a belt, a garment that combines comfort with elegance. The look was completed with tailored trousers, a wool crew-neck sweater, and leather boots with rubber soles, adding a modern, urban touch. This choice reflects his personality and artistic charisma.
The new Ferragamo eyewear line embodies a balance of comfort and wearability, featuring meticulous details that serve both aesthetic and functional purposes. The collection includes sculptural, generous shapes with curved angles achieved through manual milling processes.
The color palette of the model chosen by Mahmood includes classic black with silvery “Jet Hematite” crystal highlights, and Ferragamo’s iconic red in its most vibrant and lively expression, paired with “Light Siam” stones.
In both color variations, the lenses come in gray tones—solid for the black version and gradient for the red—and can be replaced with prescription lenses.
The campaign for the new Holiday eyewear collection was shot by Juergen Teller and features Peter Saville, Tim Schuhmacher, Maia Tellit Hawad, Lina Zhang, and Raquel Zimmermann.
