Faoflex, the Treviso-based eyewear company operating in Segusino since 1974, has taken over historic brand Germano Gambini. Known principally for its I Leggeri range, and for the history of its founder, the brand will become a house brand as of July 2022. The company of Segusino, which is displaying a strong growth rate, has already announced that there will be a restyling of the brand designed to highlight its history and inherent values.
Germano Gambini is in fact a historic brand founded in the 1970s in Bologna, thanks to the intuition of its visionary founder from whom the company takes its name. In the last 10 years, it has been managed by his daughter Paola Gambini, who has carried forward the work begun by her father with passion and dedication, thus contributing to the brand’s success and allowing it to become a point of reference for independent eyewear brands in Italy and abroad.
There is also some big news about communication and the product. Faoflex’s intention is to revitalise the industry of eyewear conceived, designed and manufactured entirely in Italy, and distributed worldwide.
