John Elkann, President of Stellantis and CEO of Exor, has been appointed as a member of the Board of Directors of Meta Platforms, the parent company of Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp. Alongside Elkann, Dana White, President and CEO of the UFC, and Charlie Songhurst, entrepreneur and tech investor, have also been appointed to Meta's Board.

Expressing his enthusiasm, Elkann stated: "It is an honor to contribute to the future of one of the most significant companies of the 21st century. I am excited to bring my global experience and long-term perspective to the board as Meta continues to push and redefine the boundaries of innovation and technology."

Mark Zuckerberg, Founder and CEO of Meta, remarked: "Dana, John, and Charlie will bring a wealth of expertise and perspectives that will help us tackle the vast opportunities ahead with AI, wearable devices, and the future of human connection."
