A new space by Italia Independent is born in Via Fiori Chiari 24 – in the heart of Brera, a magical place with a romantic and bohemian character, a district of artists, students and intellectuals who have made it a place of great charm, elegance and creativity.
The flagship store – developed on a total area of 90 square meters – was designed and built following the driving idea of welcoming customers in Lapo Elkann’s - Founder, Chairman and Creative Director of Italia Independent - second home in Milan, an environment characterized by furnishings, lights (signed by a Made in Italy excellence such as Flos) lay-out evoking the spaces in which Lapo lives and works.

“Our new shop represents the symbol of the relaunch path the company has undertaken; at the same time, it wants to be a message of optimism for the benefit of the whole industry, called to face a critical period.
I am particularly excited to open these doors, because this new space encloses my creative spirit, my soul and my being, and it is a sort of second home open to everyone, which combines the past of our company with the future of our gaze. The completely renewed concept, with an exquisitely Made in Italy flavor – from the tricolor ceiling to the lighting designed by FLOS – is the framework of the new Laps Collection, CR7 Eyewear and Hublot Eyewear collections, that can also be discovered thanks to the digital media making the customers’ experience unique.
