In Italy, official recognition of all Covid vaccine types re-opens the fair doors to international buyers.

Thanks to the Legislative Decree on “Urgent measures regarding COVID-19 vaccination certificates necessary for activity in the education, school and training environment”, international visitors who have been vaccinated or recovered from Covid over 6 months ago can now enter premises where the ‘Super Green Pass’ is requested by presenting a valid swab certificate. In other words, vaccinated status is also recognised for anyone who received a non-authorised vaccine or one which was not recognised as equivalent to those used in the EU/Italy.

This new regulation allows the return of buyers from all over the world to the programme of international fairs and events. In particular, Italy re-opens its doors to buyers from China and Russia, countries that play a vital role in our local economy.

The law introduces a wave of optimism for the entire fair and ancillary industry, which was worth 23 billion euro pre-2020 but found itself at the beginning of the year forced to postpone the leading fair events due to the pandemic.

Also MIDO, re-scheduled from 30 April to 2 May 2022, can re-establish its indisputable role as a point of reference for the industry at an international level, safeguarding the business interests of exhibiting companies. MIDO 2022 thus represents an unmissable opportunity to meet local and international customers face-to-face, discover the latest new products, take part in educational workshops and events, and discover new trends in terms of fashion, marketing and retail.

The fair will take place in complete safety, conforming to all current regulations, to ensure a safe and healthy experience for staff, exhibitors and visitors.
