Wallpepper, the Italian company that makes wallpaper, has created a new collection inspired by the Land of the Rising Sun. The atmosphere of the far east, the custodian of thousands of years old culture and history, is narrated through subjects that replicate the decorative tradition of natural panoramas and remote villages in historic xylography and with the techniques of the Heisei period of modern Japan.The “Levante” collection features the symbols and icons of Asian culture: geishas, cherry blossom, richly decorated Byōbu, fans, Zen gardens, koi, samurai, lotus flowers, bamboo…The wallpaper thereby becomes a demonstration of mysterious and fascinating beauty, a refined expression that will enhance any environment.
