The European Fielmann Group is entering the U.S. market with two acquisitions: SVS Vision and EyeviousStyle Inc. a company known for their online store Befitting. SVS Vision has more than 80 stores in 9 U.S. states and is a leader in the state of Michigan with sales of $100 million in the year 2022.
The Fielmann Group, following the acquisitions, announced that it has appointed Lukas Ruecker as CEO of Fielmann USA, Inc. Lukas, who joined the German group after more than a decade at Luxottica and was president of EyeMed Vision Care leading it, in a short time, to be considered one of the largest eyewear suppliers.
