Starting Jan. 1, 2024, rising Scandinavian sport brand BLIZ is joining the EssilorLuxottica brand portfolio, with its strong offer in sport eyewear, snow goggles and helmets.

BLIZ: dedicated to weekend warriors

Founded in 2007 in Sweden with years of success stories within cross-country skiing and several Olympic gold medals, BLIZ is one of the fastest-growing sport brands in the European market, offering a wide range of sport glasses, snow googles and helmets.

BLIZ’s mission is to create technical products for everyone that value the combination of Scandinavian clean design and unmatched functionality, mixed with great value for money. The brand targets a young, active consumer group, the so-called ‘weekend warriors’, who love to go for a bike ride or a hike in the mountains, and who also value performance and quality for a reasonable price.

BLIZ Eyewear has worked in conjunction with world class athletes in various sports through the design process to guarantee products that are tailored to sports needs.

The distribution

The distribution in the launch year will focus on the sports channel only, consolidating relationships with current brand customers and further expanding to new markets thanks to the group’s wide network of partners.
