Dior and Thélios combine their know-how to make the eyewear world excel




Dior and Thélios - the expert eyewear manufacturer of the LVMH group - are combining their know-make to create, manufacture and distribute Dior glasses around the world.


This partnership marks a decisive step for the LVMH-Marcolin joint venture which has become a major player in eyewear expertise for the Houses of the LVMH group.


Since 2017, Thélios – which collaborates with several Houses of the group - has consolidated its legitimacy in the eyewear field by combining the excellence of LVMH luxury and retail with the valuable eyewear know-how and heritage of Marcolin.


This partnership with Dior is the achievement of an ambitious vision within a fast- growing market, Thélios becoming an emblem of high quality eyewear both in production and distribution.


The first collection of Dior glasses designed with Thélios will be unveiled in January 2021 - on the occasion of the spring-summer collection - and will be available in Dior stores around the world as well as within Thélios’s selective distribution network.


Created in 2017 from the desire of LVMH to develop the eyewear field by making unique frames, Thélios combines Italian design and craft with the essence of the elegance, between heritage and creativity, of large Houses such as Dior.


Its name evokes two divinities: Theia, Greek goddess of light and sight and the sun god, Helios.


Where traditional know-how meets creative modernity, this combination of excellence between Dior and Thélios marks a new era in eyewear culture.
