“Blu Marble”, the most recent creation by the artist, designer and activist Sebastian Errazuriz, is an incredible six-metre tall LED structure that reproduces live streaming of the Earth as seen from space. Visible day and night, it invites spectators to consider their presence on the planet, on a scale they have never experienced before.To obtain the image of the Earth seen from space, the artist’s team created a bot, which takes the images captured by NASA satellites and mixes them using a software.“Blu Marble” is a “contemplative” work, which offers a new perspective on human existence, with the hope of guiding humanity towards a positive change.
