Blackfin joins forces with Andrea Bocelli Foundation for a new music culture project.

Blackfin joins forces with Andrea Bocelli Foundation for a new music culture project.

On 1 October, the new Music Academy of Camerino was inaugurated, after being built in less than 150 days thanks to the funds and supervision of ABF (Andrea Bocelli Foundation), in the place of the previous building which was irretrievably damaged by the 2016 earthquake in the Marche region.

The inauguration event, attended by the famous tenor along with leading national and regional representatives from various institutions, represented another important step in the efforts by the Foundation towards promoting music culture and art via the ABF educational projects, and is entirely coherent with its mission – Empowering People and Communities.

The new Academy, modern and safe, comprises 10 classrooms and an auditorium. It will also serve as a separate branch of Fermo’s Conservatoire and will be named after the Marche tenor Franco Corelli, who was Bocelli’s music teacher and friend.

The university town will once again have a fitting music school, destined to become an educational and artistic breeding ground worthy of the noble tradition that has characterised Camerino’s culture for centuries.

The role of Blackfin

Having supported the work of Andrea Bocelli Foundation for years, Blackfin is delighted to take part in this important project dedicated to music, an artistic discipline in which Italy boasts an excellent ambassador in the form of Andrea Bocelli himself.

We are delighted and honoured to contribute to the development of young talent, the symbol of a healthy and genuine Italy, with a project that is strongly linked to the territory and its people, while in perfect harmony with the values of social responsibility that underlie Blackfin and form the essential foundations on which our concept of new Made in Italy is based stated Nicola Del Nin, CEO of Blackfin.
