At the end of June 2022, Valentino will separate from Luxottica and move to Akoni.

Luxottica Group and Maison Valentino announced that the license agreement for the design, production and distribution of prescription frames and sunglasses worldwide under the Valentino brand will come to an end on June 30, 2022.

According to ANSA news agency, from July 2022 the license will pass to Akoni, a Swiss company founded by Rosario Toscano.
