The fashion brands were back on the catwalks, and eyewear played a starring role in the best-known brands’ shows. At the same time, two companies who have always been ambassadors for Made in Italy quality also chose to take part in Milan Fashion Week: ARU and Fabbricatorino.
The first organised an event at the new MBO store. The brand presented not only its eyewear, but also its materials for retail items, the pencil case/purse in faux leather and la Torque, a jewellery pendant and eyeglass chain made with a variety of materials, including sustainable PLA. A live male/female shoot allowed a close-up look at all the features in the sunglasses and prescription glasses ranges on display. Architect Daniela Verrazzo also announced that at MIDO they will launch “Avanguardia, a pair of glasses specifically created for the Milan event, and the Flat Design collection, in metal and acetate, which will be paired with a glasses cloth with designs inspired by the concepts around which the brand was developed”.
Meanwhile, the event WeLoveModainItaly presented Fabbricatorino eyewear: an event organised by CNA Federmoda to inform the press and businesses about a number of companies in the fashion industry that produce clothes, eyewear and jewellery.
The glasses were worn by models who took to the catwalks in key items from the 2022 collection, including: l’Asolo, the glasses most symbolic of Fabbricatorino, il Soave with an elongated form, and the elegant Tuscania.
