A$AP Rocky is the new Creative Director of Ray-Ban

Ray-Ban partners with the international superstar to redefine the aesthetics and image of Ray-Ban Studios

Ray-Ban has officially announced the appointment of global artist and icon A$AP Rocky as its first-ever Creative Director. This prestigious and innovative collaboration aims to redefine the future of the iconic eyewear brand, starting from Ray-Ban Studios, the creative platform launched in 2016 to celebrate music, artistic courage, and contemporary culture.

Rakim Mayers, universally known as A$AP Rocky, is not just an international music superstar but also a visionary fashion innovator and entrepreneur.

Following the recent success of his fourth album, "Don’t Be Dumb," Rocky is now set to bring his unique vision into the eyewear world with Ray-Ban.

The partnership will officially launch in April 2025 with the "Blacked Out Collection," a bold reinterpretation of Ray-Ban’s Mega Icons, featuring golden details and ultra-black lenses that blend classic style with contemporary influences.

"I have always admired Ray-Ban’s ability to evolve while staying true to its roots," stated A$AP Rocky. "Being part of this journey and writing a new chapter for such an iconic brand excites me greatly."

Leonardo Maria Del Vecchio, President of Ray-Ban, enthusiastically welcomed the new partnership: "Ray-Ban isn't just an eyewear brand; it's a symbol of style. For nearly 80 years, it has been the choice of artists, musicians, and iconic figures who have shaped cultural landscapes. A$AP Rocky perfectly embodies our values of innovation, pioneering spirit, and courage. This marks the beginning of a new era."

Rocky’s role will go beyond eyewear design—he will play a key role in directing advertising campaigns, redesigning Ray-Ban stores, and uniquely merging fashion, music, and art. His eclectic and bold vision promises to set new trends and further cement Ray-Ban’s position in the international cultural landscape.
