A new step forward in innovation to deal with myopia progression and share the latest scientific discoveries
ZEISS announced the establishment of an international committee of experts, called the Advisory Board for Myopia Management, chaired by Prof. Padmaja Sankaridurg, along with the launch of the MYOPIA HUB portal. These initiatives testify to ZEISS' commitment to providing an up-to-date overview of scientific evidence regarding myopic progression.
The Advisory Board established by ZEISS is composed of professionals, academic and clinical institutions of international standing. This board allows experts to discuss new scientific findings, ongoing studies, and best practices for the management of myopic progression.
The committee, which integrates scientific evidence into products developed by ZEISS, includes experts from clinical practice, academia, and business. These professionals will independently evaluate new scientific findings, helping ZEISS improve its approach to myopia management, both theoretically and practically.
ZEISS also launched the MYOPIA HUB portal, which offers a wide range of content, including studies and research, statistics and official data. The portal, which is continuously updated with new findings, is open to all and is a pint of reference for anyone interested in learning more about myopia.
