On Thursday 19 October 2023, the group held its latest initiative at the Milan showroom, Marcolin Talk: a new innovative format dedicated to its own community. The key theme of the first edition was "Visions", which was explored in depth from different perspectives: from the Made in Italy industry and the importance of Italian manufacturing, to sustainability and green washing, touching also on the relationship between everyday life and artificial intelligence, diversity & inclusion, and female empowerment. Moderated by Clara Magnanini, Group Communication Director of Marcolin, three special guests were invited to participate: Stefania Lazzaroni, General Manager of the Fondazione Altagamma, Federico Garcea, Founder and CEO of Treedom and Francesco Oggiano, Digital Journalist of Will Media.
At the end of the guests' talks, Fabrizio Curci, CEO & General Manager of Marcolin, underlined the initiative's importance and company pride in having created a new space for idea generation. The company's goal is to become a driver of dialogue that looks beyond its own industry, giving people the tools to see through a new "frame", inspiring transformation and stimulating cultural debate.
The next meetings
The Marcolin Talk series will soon become a regular and itinerant event, travelling through the international hubs of Marcolin in Europe, the United States and Asia, with the goal of actively engaging and involving both stakeholders and partners of the various key markets in the discussion.
