Panerai arrives in London
Officine Panerai, the legendary watchmaker’s workshop, store and school, has opened the doors of its boutique in London, the first in the United Kingdom and the second largest in Europe after Florence.
Designed by famous architect and designer Patricia Urquiola, the new boutique, extending over an area of 150 square meters across two floors, will enable customers to discover the company’s world and benefit from the permanent presence of an in-house watchmaker.
To celebrate the opening, Panerai worked with Sotheby’s to auction an exclusive bronze watch, the Luminor Submersible 1950 3 Days Automatic Bronze - 47mm, the proceeds from which (75,000 £) will be donated to OnBoard, a Royal Yachting Association charitable program.
