Luxottica has been able to transform its international dimension – 130 countries, 5 continents, 35 languages – into a global culture. To this end, the company has invested in development tools and programs oriented toward promoting the international mobility of its people. The most recent of these initiatives is the Global Players Program. An innovative training and coaching program that provides expats – the employees about to be transferred to an office abroad – their partners and family members at a time of personal and professional change with the tools that will accelerate the process of integration with and adaptation to the new cultural and organizational context.
