The best of Italian design on show in Milan

Is open, in Milan, the exhibition dedicated to a selection of about 150 Italian objects produced during the last year in every product and market sector – from furniture and furnishings to cars, from building supplies to books. All these objects are part of the ADI Design Index 2015. Each year ADI carries out a selection from the vast range of products manufactured in Italy: of the 758 products submitted this year, only 150 were chosen by a special working group - the Permanent Design Observatory composed of over one hundred experts including external ADI members - to be entered for the next Compasso d'Oro, for which the ADI Design Index is the pre-selection. The works on display include Crochet tiles designed by Peppino Lopez for Mind madeindesign, the Ferrari FXX K model designed by Flavio Manzoni, the Ossidiana coffee maker designed by Mario Trimarchi for Alessi, and Lotto Zhero Gravity VII 200 shoes by Lotto Sport Italia. After Milan, the exhibition will move to the Botanical Garden of Rome from 15 October.
