Tailor made luxury

Tailoring, extreme luxury and haute couture. Designed by French architect Christian de Portzamparc and decorated by Peter Marino Architect, the structure of the new Christian Dior flagship store in Seoul is inspired by the fabrics used for the French designer’s creations and takes the form of white vertical resin and fiberglass sails. The entrance, where two shells meet, is a kind of modern pointed arch in which two metal mesh surfaces crossover in line with the apparel metaphor. Inside, in addition to Dior apparel and accessories, there is a VIP lounge and a café, where clients can enjoy desserts and coffee by French master pastry chef Pierre Herme.
