Oakley In Residence stops over in Sydney

Sydney is the third stop for Oakley In Residence, as part of the brand's One Obsession global campaign that expresses its passion for sport. After Los Angeles and London, it's now off to Sydney, a lively and cosmopolitan city that also has one of the most active and evolved skate communities. The programme will include workshops, exclusive exhibitions, debates, artistic installations, and meetings with athletes, skateboard sessions, film previews and much more. Works featured include the "skateable" sculptures by local artist Andrew Peters or "Destination Sydney", a photographic exhibition that tells the story of skateboarding in Sydney over the last twenty years. It is curated by Atiba Jefferson and the photographers Mike O'Meally and Andrew Peters. The public are greeted by a mural designed by Anthony Lister on the outside of the building. The programme is organised by athletes such as Eric Koston, Sean Malto and Curren Caples, alongside the photographer Atiba Jefferson. In collaboration with local non-profit organisations, Oakley will offer workshops and creative activities to disadvantaged youth.
