New Essilor Sun Solution technology

Kolor UpTM is a new brand featuring the new solar lens technology of Essilor Sun Solution developed in partnership with the Essilor R&D team. The Kolor UpTM lenses selectively modulate the light that reaches the retina and the wavelength of the primary colours received by the eye's photoreceptors. The benefits include strengthening of colours and maintenance of a high level of perception, highlighting of the natural colours of the surrounding environment and high level of visual quality even in very bright conditions. The new lenses are available in plano version, polarised and non-polarised, in full or shaded colours such as amber, grey, grey-green and copper. The Kolor UpTM colours are also available with different treatments, including silver or champagne coatings.
