London lights up

In the heart of the City of London, Mackay + Partners has designed Motel One, the first commercial building in the United Kingdom with a sparkling facade. The new building gives the historical Minories area a luminous identity thanks to the use of DuPont® Corian® translucent white cladding. During the day the finish is pure and simple, but at night highly impactful effects are created by illuminating the building with backlit panels. The LED lighting system includes a range of colors that can be changed by computer and patterns and hues that reflect the Motel One brand.
