Innovation by Movitra

Already available on www.movitraspectacles. com are the eyeglasses that rotate to allow both temples to close over the lenses thereby protecting them from knocks and scratching. They are patented by Movitra Spectacles, a new brand founded by Filippo Pagliacci and two other partners, which will be officially presented in February at Mido 2016. Movitra collaborates with the sector’s major Italian companies on using the best acetate sheets and manufacturing components for the rotating mechanism inside the frame. The lenses are manufactured at the Carl Zeiss Vision plants in Italy. The patent has been applied to three models - Movitra 115, Movitra 215 and Movitra 315. Available in 8 different colors they target the mid-high range of consumers between 30 and 55 years of age. From March 2016 the collection will be distributed exclusively to fashion specialty stores in Italy and selected optical stores.
