"Fragments" by Felice Limosani at Miami Art Basel

On occasion of the Art Basel contemporary art exhibition in Miami, Felice Limosani, the world-famous digital storyteller has opened an artistic installation called Fragments-Euphonic Soundscap at the Parmigiani Gallery in the Wynwood Arts District that captures the sounds of the work environments in homage to the Swiss clock-making company. The installation features 24 speakers, as many as the hours in a day, located on the side and front of the gallery (around 100 m2) that reproduce the actual sounds of manufacturing and the Swiss artisans of Neuchatel at work, transforming them into a melodic acoustic background. The four divisions of the clock face are represented in the centre of the space by as many trumpets each containing a downward-facing speaker, which oscillate sinuously to create a unique acoustic-sensory atmosphere.
