Emerging Talent Award goes to two Italian designers

Italian designers won the third edition of the Emerging Talent Award from Made.Com, the e-store dedicated to democratic design. Ivana Mannavola and Nicola Lattanzi received the award for the Overlap Storage project, which had the most votes from a public of enthusiasts on www.votemade.com. It is a collection composed of a dresser, night stand, chest and sideboard with doors that are partly grain-filled lacquered and partly open-pore lacquered, which creates interesting overlapping layers. The product by the two young Italian designers will be marketed by Made.com so they will be able to take advantage of a unique opportunity to get their style known.
