Design becomes multi-disciplinary
Reciprocity design Liège, Biennale internationale du design (which is now held every three years) is a forum for interaction and international cooperation designed to stimulate discussion and place the spotlight on design as a means for innovation and social and urban cohesion. In particular it focuses on the relationship between design and society, the collaboration between the designer and citizens in the innovation of public services, learning and teaching as the birthplace of a new ethical conscience for the designer, the new models of co-creation, production and micro-business and the circular economy. This year the event will open its arms to embrace other creative universes such as architecture (focus on the recycling of building materials) and graphic design (focus on activism in visual communication). Much more than just a simple three-yearly event, Reciprocity aims to position itself as an ongoing multi-disciplinary, collaborative and long-term workshop. The event will run from October 1 to November 1 in Liège (Belgium).
