For the Longarone-based company, development of the Asia Pacific area with new headquarters to support luxury brands An ever-increasing presence in the Asia-Pacific area with the recent inauguration of new headquarters in China for international eyewear player De Rigo Vision. The center handles shared product, marketing and sales strategies oriented toward enabling greater and faster penetration of the Far East thanks to a corporate restructuring plan aimed at making full use of the potential of its brands. In this regard, the Belluno-based company announced that Gary Li Hui – a Chinese top manager with 13 years' experience as deputy managing director of the Charmant group – has been appointed general manager of the subsidiary. At the same time, to develop and coordinate the various customer support initiatives, the sales and marketing divisions have been strengthened through the addition of two new sales managers and a marketing manager. The logistics bases for the new structure are the three offices at Guangzhou, Beijing and Shanghai, which will guarantee 360° targeted services for markets in the Far East.   The scenario is positive also in the rest of the world, especially in Brazil and the Iberian Peninsula, with a double-digit growth.   De Rigo Vision Portugal had very positive results in 2014, with a year-end budget in excess of the forecast figure. A very important result considering the country's difficult economic situation. Positive performance is due also to house brands Police (+19%) and Sting (+18%).   Wilvale De Rigo is also growing in Brazil and closed 2014 with growth compared to 2013. The increase was driven by house brand Police; thanks to a collection packed with style and the popularity of local testimonial Neymar Jr., its sales are expected to double.
