A show dedicated to Elio Fiorucci
“Il vocabolario della moda italiana” (The Vocabulary of Italian Fashion) is the show that the Triennale di Milano is dedicating to the stylist who changed international fashion with his vision: Elio Fiorucci. The show was conceived to acknowledge and celebrate contemporary Italian fashion and its protagonists through the viewing of brands and designers who over the past 20 years have renewed and revived the cultural, technical, and technological roots of tradition, rewriting a totally original idiom. The new vocabulary of Italian fashion analyses this language and the new nature of Italian fashion through the works of its protagonists and their various expressions. From prêt-à-porter to streetwear, from footwear to eyewear, from costume jewellery to hats: an unprecedented vocabulary of style and productivity.
