A concept store for makers in Italy

Opened in July in Monza, Makerland is the first retail store dedicated to new technologies like 3D and laser printing. Set up through a collaboration between Auchan and Gallerie Commerciali Italia (GCI), Talent Garden, Sharazad, Opendot and Gummy Industries, outstanding players in the European world of innovation, the aim is to create a new meeting place for makers and inquiring persons who want to approach the world of 2.0 innovation and craftsmanship. Makerland sells kits, electronic circuit boards, 3D printers, articles for customizing, and decidedly DIY products. Designed by studio dotdotdot, the space is flexible, versatile and modular for adapting to a variety of sales, consultancy and meeting needs.
