Youthful fashion

Last Saturday's second edition of the initiative by the Italian Chamber of Fashion aimed at supporting the start-up of young businesses in the fashion system, was widely approved at the showing of the collections by emerging labels.

The results of this ambitious project financed by Milan City Council inaugurated the eight-day women's fashion event for next spring/summer. A breath of fresh air: the mini-shows by a.Ve ante vesperum edicta (by Elena Pignata and Valentina Vizio), Gilda Giambra, BeeQueen by Chicca Lualdi, San Andres Milano (by Andres Caballero), Leitmotiv (by Fabio Sasso and Juan Caro) and Federico Sangalli Milano demonstrated the talent of these promising designers to the press and sector operators.

Eyewear was also a star on the runway: 3 famous Italian eyewear brands produced models in collaboration with the new fashion talents and joined their creations on the runway. Okki modeled for BeeQueen and Chicca Lualdi, Vanni was there with Gilda Giambra, and Italian Style with Federico Sangalli.

Paolo Seminara and Mario BoselliEmerging styles that are taking confident steps in highly proactive outfits, a synthesis of careful attention to line and volume, the mastership of cut and rational viewpoints, because these looks have also revealed - and perhaps this is the spirit of the times - a more concrete dimension of creativity.

Lectra, the world leader for the supply of integrated technological solutions for the fashion industry, offered the six designers the Kaledo software, a new-generation professional design platform, and gave them the opportunity to be trained by the company's experts on two other modeling applications: Modaris and Modaris 3D Fit, the best 3D virtual prototype solution on the market.

Thanks to the support of the institutions, small fashion businesses can now emerge and consolidate in the crowded new brand scenario. 'The Italian Chamber of Fashion will continue to support young people with this and other projects' explained Mario Boselli, chairman of the Chamber, 'because without initiatives like the Fashion Incubator and Next Generation even talented emerging stylists would need years of hard work to achieve the visibility they deserve'.
