Venice: Kevin's eyewear

The Safilo Group also has a part in Ferzan Ozpetek's movie 'A Perfect Day' shown recently at the Venice Film Festival and on release in Italy September 5.

Based on the novel of the same name by Melania G. Mazzucco, it is an ironical, moving and compassionate love story that divides and unites Emma and Antonio. Just like a detective story, different and distant worlds cross paths with today's everyday life and attempt to give shape to a situation that is chaotic, equivocal and obscure.

Carrera Junior and Blue Bay are the eyewear worn by Kevin (Gabriele Paolino), Emma (Isabella Ferrari) and Antonio's (Valerio Mastandrea) son. The cast includes Italian movie stars Stefania Sandrelli, Valerio Binasco, Monica Guerritore, Nicole Grimaudo, Federico Costantini, Nicole Murgia and Serra Yilmaz.
