Success at Bormio for Carrera athletes

It could not have gone better for the athletes in the Carrera Ski Racing Team. After a highly exciting season of one success after another, the team excelled in the finals of the World Cup at Bormio.

The first to make their mark were the Moelgg siblings: Manfred won the slalom cup and the first podium in the specialty after his huge victory at Kranjska Gora the previous week; he came third in the giant classification with points that put him in fourth place in the general classification.

And in no way inferior was his sister, Manuela, who came in only 7-hundredths behind Elisabeth Goergl to gain second place in the women's giant: in this classification the two Carrera athletes are in third and second place, respectively.

The season ended with enormous satisfaction in the women's disciplines: Goergl was confirmed fourth in the final classification and, thanks to excellent results in the previous races, Anja Paerson is in sixth place.
