Softer shapes for the new Missoni lines

Missoni reawakens the senses by releasing all its colorful personality. Strong, recognizable concepts through which the label has created space for all its lines and products. The three-dimensional chain pattern is the keystone of the sun and vision collections.

In this stylistic gem, plastic and metal intertwine in modular rings with special attention to comfort; the horizontal rings in metal are beveled internally to give a better fit. The chain is combined with the acetate, metal and steel front piece and is fully expressed in the MI666 special edition, the model launched on the runway at DONNA fall/winter 2008/09.

Other concepts that resound in the Missoni atelier include the texture of perforated metal with a haute couture flavor, while the sun collection in particular is a succession of enamels, rhinestones and shells.

The shapes of the sun and vision collections are rounder and soften wide profiles, which are large in the plastic version and vintage in the metal models.

The colors are totally Missoni and range from bubbling flame to warm shades of must and coffee.
