
Salvatore Ferragamo: upturn in revenues and operating and net profits
The Board of Directors of Salvatore Ferragamo Italia approved the consolidated financial statements for financial year 2007: revenues stood at Euro 687.4 million, +6.5% at current exchange rates, and +11.3% at constant exchange rates against 2006.
Operating profits (ebit) reached Euro 77.4 million (+54.4%), with the incidence on turnover increasing from 7.8% to 11.3%. Net profits, including third-party shares, rose from Euro 35.1 million of the previous year to 47.1 million this year (+34.2%).
Turnover divided by geographical area puts North America in pole position (26.4%), followed by Asia Pacific (25.6%), Europe (25.5%), Japan (19.3%) and Central and South America (3.2%). In Shanghai March 28, the label will be the protagonist at a major event to celebrate its first 80 years.
