Safilo also runs for life

Again this year, the Safilo Group is continuing its support of 'Corri la Vita', the sixth edition of the sports event that raises funds in favor of the fight against breast cancer and associations and hospitals such as the Oncologic Rehabilitation Center in Florence, the Breast Specialization Unit at the Hospital in Careggi and the Italian Foundation for Lenitive Therapy.

The appointment is in Florence Sunday, September 28, for two different races: a run of 10.5 kilometers and a walk of just over 5 kilometers through the city streets on a discovery of its most charming corners.

For the occasion, Safilo will provide 400 pairs of sports glasses by its own brands, Carrera and Smith, for the runners' 'special bags'. For some time now, the Group has been involved in benefit events that help research associations and those that provide relief for people suffering from the disease. 'Corri per la Vita' (42 thousand participants in the first five editions and proceeds of one million euro) is one of these.
