Rudy Project captivates Outside Magazine
A new and exceptional double for Rudy Project. This time it has captivated Outside Magazine, the USA's most widespread, famous and prestigious active lifestyle magazine. In the authoritative magazine's special Buyer's Guide 2008, Rudy Project was awarded the much-coveted Gear of the Year award for no fewer than two of the new additions to its 2008 collection: the Zyon Sailing eyewear and the Zuma helmet.
Read every month by almost three million people nation-wide in the printed version as well as online, Outside gave Zyon Sailing eyewear the award for the top product in the technological evolution category and emphasized its considerable technical characteristics - from photochromic lenses to the special polarizing formula that facilitates reading onboard instruments, to the frames, optic support and its cool look. The Zuma helmet won the award in the Killer Deal category for its technical performance, streamlined design and very competitive price.
'We're really proud about these awards' said Simone Barbazza, head of marketing at Rudy Project, 'and not just because they come from the outdoor bible in a market, the United States, which is crucial for Rudy Project's business. They are important successes' Barbazza pointed out, 'and above all they reward the company's constant attention to the technological and esthetical innovation of all its products, which are always designed ad hoc for sportspeople'.
