Rudy Project athletes on the podium again
Twofold success for Slovenia's Blaza Klemencic and Ivan Alvarez Gutierrez of Spain, who were both on the third step of the podium at Schladming in Austria. Thanks to the points they have accumulated, the Giant team is also at the top of the general classification at the end of the World Cup 2008. For this adventure, the athletes wore two models from the Rudy Projectcollection: the Actyum helmet and Sportmask Performance glasses.
The helmet is the result of a collaboration with internationally-renowned athletes and features the In-Mold construction technology, 26 air vents, Kynetium reinforcements (a mixture of magnesium, silicon and titanium that Rudy Project has been using for some time in the construction of eyewear), a new set of internal leather pads, which guarantees unprecedented comfort, the new helmet retention system RS7R DISC, sleek and modern design, and numerous, attractive color proposals. The package is completed with the exclusive removable visor, two sets of interchangeable padding, a removable anti-bug net and a microfiber pouch for storing the helmet when not in use. Actyum not only exceeds the European safety tests, it also meets the strictest American and Australian safety standards.
To protect the Giants' eyes during the races, Sportmask Performance again demonstrated that they are the perfect companions in any extreme situation. Streamlined and with a feisty look, emphasized by the Rudy Project side logos in racing format, SportMask Performance has ultra-flat temples in Grilamid TR 55 LX, perfect for slipping under the helmet, and an adjustable nosepiece in soft silicone for total comfort. The big, wraparound lenses guarantee distortion-free side vision and feature a front spacer to improve lens ventilation and prevent fogging. Thanks to the innovative Quick Change system, SportMask Performance lenses can be substituted to cope with any changes in weather conditions.
