A vision collection also for Smith, the brand owned by the Safilo Group and, till now, known mainly for its sunglasses frames, goggles and helmets for snowboarding and freestyle skiing.With this new addition, Smith has transferred to the new frames the technical and stylistic content of its winter products.

The result is a vision frame collection with an unmistakable style and innovative design and, above all, with the extraordinary technical characteristics that have made Smith the competition choice of famous faces in the world of sport.Taking advantage of Smith technology are athletes such as Vittorio Brumotti, world bike trial champion 2006, Canada's freestyle skier Sarah Burke, who won a gold at the Turin Olympics 2006 and gold for the halfpipe at the X Games 2008 in Aspen, Travis Pastrana, American motocross legend, Bobby Martinez, the US surfer for whom special glasses in a limited edition were also created, and many more.

Smith's aim? To establish the brand in the trend collection segment in the States and in the rest of the world.
The most leading edge proposal is the use of the patented 'Interlock™' on the vision frames such as 'Crossroad' and 'Mission' in Grilamid, a special material that is durable and extremely strong.

The frames in the 'Style' line stand out for their exclusive graphic asymmetry, fresh, bright colors and dynamic profiles. For example, the 'Intersection' vision frame is a perfect mix of sporty appeal and fashionable design. Inspired by the look of certain models in Smith's famous ski goggles collection, the 'flex' temples of the rectangular acetate profile have attractive and original graphic effects with the Smith symbol in pride of place. Street-glam was the inspiration for the 'Party' frame in acetate with squared-off, masculine lines and comfortable 'flex' hinges on the temples. 'Star' is the new vision frame for women. In multi-layer acetate, it is oval, pleasantly wraparound and has super-comfortable 'flex' hinges on the temples.
